PERIPATETIC MUSIC LESSONS

Learning a musical instrument is fun, builds confidence and can open the door to a lifelong passion for music.

At St. Andrew’s, pupils are able to take advantage of the excellent peripatetic music lessons that are available.

A team of musicians visit during the week to teach…

All brass instruments, including trumpet, trombone, tuba, French Horn, and Tenor horn

Pupils who have instrumental lessons have opportunities to perform in assemblies, classes and concerts throughout the year if they wish to, as well as the opportunity to become a member of the St. Andrew’s School Orchestra.

Students can also be entered for graded exams with either the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, or with the Trinity Guildhall exam board.
